I watched Alien for the first time last night.
During Georgia Tech orientation, all of the speakers would warn us that we probably wouldn’t become best friends with our roommates, and that we’d have to learn to tolerate them. And while I’ve been here, I’ve heard a lot of people complain about how annoying/difficult their roommates are. And I always wonder what their roommates say about them.
My roommates, however, are amazing. I could not have asked for a better bunch of guys. We all like each other, and we all like spending time with each other. Sometimes we’ll nerd out and play computer games like Tron or TMNT: Turtles in Time together. Sometimes we’ll just sit around and discuss things like how easy it would be to infiltrate the residence hall security if we were bad guys (I can’t say “if we were going to plant a bomb” out of fear that we’d be brought in for questioning) or the “funniest” jokes relating to math. A lot of times we’ll just sit around and watch movies together.
Yeah, my roommates are pretty freaking awesome.
